Couture dream come true!
Back in 2012, my heart skipped a beat as I saw the Exotic Emerald gown coming down the runway at Luly Yang Couture's fashion show, A Monarch's Tale. I have been photographing the talented designer's runway shows since her Passage to Shanghai collection circa 2005. Since then, I had dreamed of owning one of her exquisite gowns, until recently when my dream came true.
I received the ultimate couture experience of being measured and having my very own Exotic Emerald gown cut to my specifications. I have never felt more glamorous than when I debuted my dream gown at the Providence O'Christmas Trees Gala later that year. The gown is now prominently displayed in my home on a dress form as the work of art that it is.
