VIVIAN HSU PHOTOGRAPHY
I have delved in fashion design, cinematography, painting, sculpture, and dance throughout my childhood before choosing photography as a profession. After graduating from the Art Institute of Seattle, my first foray in the photography business was shooting portraits. Not long after, my love for other arts melded with my photography work in the form of creative photo shoots for dancers, fashion designers, models, and all types of performers.
Since then, I have gone on to be published in local Seattle publications such as The Seattle Times, Seattle Magazine, The Puget Sound Business Journal, and Seattle Metropolitan Magazine. My images have also been featured in nationwide publications such as Cosmopolitan, Elle, and Vogue Magazines. Today I am a Seattle-based traveling photographer specializing in events, portrait, runway, and marketing ads.
The highlight of my success was the showcasing of my work at the Museum of History and Industry in Seattle, where some of my creative photo portraits were part of the History of Hip Hop exhibit for several months. Prior to that, the first museum I had work featured in was the Wing Luke Museum of the Asian Pacific American Experience.
I am deeply grateful for this career, as it has brought me countless exciting experiences that I can look back on in my photojournalistic memoirs. And I am even more so thankful for the support of my family and friends throughout the years.
